On December 9, 2009 in Mountain View at the Computer History Museum, the 2009 Silicon Valley Open Doors (SVOD) held the Fifth Annual International Conference on Entrepreneurship. This event brings together Russian-speaking innovators, venture capital firms and angel investors to discuss reinventing the startup processed with new technologies, business models, financing, monetizing, team building. Speakers included Vinod Khosla, Guy Kawasaki, Sergei Beloussov of Parallels, Vish Makhajani,of Zynga, Kittu Kolluri of NEA and Matthew Trevithick of Venrock. Venture capitalists included Alloy Ventures, Asset Management Company, Kleiner Perkins, Benchmark Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, Doll Capital Management, Opus Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Mayfield Fund, Intitutional Venture Partners, North Bridge Venture Partners and Sofinnova Ventures. They judged the presentations of twenty high-tech companies. The winner in the business plan competition received a traditional AmBAR Golden Lock Award.
