Information Architect & Field Liaison

People have a lot of silly titles these days. Being manager or vice president or even CEO is not exotic enough. Being an evangelist or wizard is pretty mainstream these days. Thought leader sounds way too cult-like. To stay ahead of the curve I found a new one. I got a card that said “Information Architect & Field Liaison”. I could not take them seriously. djcblumbers.jpg10-18-08-obama.jpg

On October 18, 2008 Barack Obama stood under the Gateway Arch in St. Louis Missouri and spoke to a crowd of 100,000 people. If you look at the photographs you will see the green dome of the old courthouse. A hundred and fifty years ago, they used to auction slaves on the steps of that building. You could probably still see the holes in the pillars where they used to attach the chains. This picture is a sign of how far we have come as a nation. Text from DJCline.com.
