On October 18, 2008 Barack Obama stood under the Gateway Arch in St. Louis Missouri and spoke to a crowd of 100,000 people. If you look at the photographs you will see the green dome of the old courthouse. A hundred and fifty years ago, they used to auction slaves on the steps of that building. You could probably still see the holes in the pillars where they used to attach the chains. This picture is a sign of how far we have come as a nation. Text from DJCline.com.
