It shouldn’t surprise me that it finally happened.

After wrestling with a head cold for a week, I ran out of Kleenex. Every box in the house ran out at the same time. This is what happens when you buy in bulk and don’t stagger your purchasing. You buy a crate of kleenex and four years later BANG… you suddenly have no way to blow your nose. It’s been so long that the store I bought it from has closed. I’ll have to find some other warehouse store that will sell some absorbent dead trees at everyday low prices.

I wonder if Ray Kurzweil has written about the day we all run out kleenex. A Kleenex Convergence where the machines take over because they have no sinuses.
