A few years ago UPN had a series called Jake 2.0 which can occasionally be seen on the Sci-Fi Channel. It was about a computer nerd who had all sorts of top secret information jammed in his head. To me Chuck is Jake 3.0.

He has a mundane life living with his sister and working at a big box electronics store. This is part of the TV networks broader trend to reach the tech-savvy nerds who are busy playing video games. “Look these stories are relevant to you!”

The show has Adam Baldwin doing his classic tough guy, and the show has its moments, but not enough for me.
