Tip For Flippers

I don’t review restaurants but I do reward good behavior.

I was in a new restaurant, the waitress came to the table and apologized for the wait. The chef had dropped the meal on the floor and had to start over.

Where I come from there is great honor in feeding people. I never understood why people here denigrate “burger flippers”. I did not have to pay for the meal but I did leave on heck of a tip to the waitress and the chef. They admitted a mistake and did not make me pay for it, a great lesson for all of us.

I wonder how many times this has happened at other restaurants and they NEVER told me?!
