A big budget fantasy movie. It is a fantasy because there seems to a large part of England that doesn’t pay income taxes. Who does the land surveying in England that they miss places like Narnia and Stormhold? A multidimensional portal in the form of a gap in a wall or a wardrobe could seriously affect the resale value of your home.

Seriously, this is an earnest attempt to be the next Princess Bride and I had no fun watching them storm the castle. Michelle Pfeiffer plays a witch that disembowels animals for divination and will do anything to look younger. Robert DeNiro plays a pirate with a larger wardrobe than you might expect. There are lots of cameos that don’t help the movie much. Watch it if there is nothing else on.
